Rückenau (Molotschna Mennonite Settlement, Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine)
Rückenau, a village in the Molotschna Mennonite settlement, Ukraine, founded in 1811, consisting of 4,978 acres (14 full farms and 12 half farms). In 1895 a home for the aged was established by Peter Martin Friesen in Rückenau which he turned over to the local Mennonite Brethren Church. The home took care of fifteen persons.
