Oswald Seidensticker (d. 1894) an American historian, author of the valuable works, Die ersten deutschen Einwanderer in Amerika 1683 (Philadelphia, 1883); Ephrata, eine amerikanische Klostergeschichte (1883); Bilder aus der Deutsch-Pennsylvanischen Geschichte (1885); William Venn's Travels in Holland and Germany (1878); Die beiden Christopher Sauer in Germantown (1881); Geschichte der Deutschen Gesellschaft in Pennsylvanien 1676-1876 (Philadelphia, 1876).
