Randall, Gilies (ca. 1600-1650)

Gilies Randall (ca. 1600-50), an English clergyman concerning whose life little is known. He was the son of Edward Randall of Chipping Wycombe, Bucks, and earned his bachelor's degree at Oxford in 1626. In 1643 he was charged with having preached Anabaptism, Familism, and Antinomianism. In the fall of 1644 he was deposed from his office as a clergyman "on account of his Anabaptism." He apparently held confused ideas.
