Heyndrick Jacobs Pos, a Dutch Mennonite of the 17th century who probably lived in Edam or Middelie, is the author of the booklet Geestelycken Comeet (Edam, 1665); he also composed the 131 hymns of the <em>Middelieer Lied-boeck</em>.
