Menno Travel Service, Akron, Pennsylvania, was established by the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in 1947. Its purpose has been to make travel arrangements for MCC workers, voluntary service personnel, Pax men, foreign missionaries, tour groups, and individuals. Although its primary purpose is to serve its own constituency, it has also served other church groups. In 1958 it had branch offices in Newton, Kansas; Goshen, Indiana; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Asuncion, Paraguay; London, England; Winnipeg, Manitoba; and Beirut, Lebanon. Its volume of business in 1958 was approximately $650,000. Arthur Voth was the director of the Service.
