Living Word Christian Fellowship was founded in 2001 in Sparta, Wisconsin. The church joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in August 2007.

In 2012 the leading minister was Marvin Stutzman, the congregational membership was 11, and the average weekly attendance was 40.
