Knox County (Ohio, USA)
The Amish of Knox County, Ohio, lived for less than 20 years (between 1830 and 1860) in a fairly compact group about one mile north of Martinsburg. Preacher (later bishop) Isaac Schmucker was ordained to the ministry here in 1838 but moved to Noble County, Indiana, in 1841.
