Civilian Public Service Unit (Winnebago, Wisconsin, USA)

Winnebago State Hospital was the location of Civilian Public Service Unit No. 122, which was operated by the Mennonite Central Committee from November 1943 to February 1946. The unit of 15 men worked as attendants in this 500-bed hospital, which treated acute psychiatric patients.
