Calvary Mennonite Fellowship was founded in 1990 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The church was a charter member of the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in February 1999.

In 2012 the leading minister was Paul M. Emerson, the congregational membership was 160, and the average weekly attendance was 225.
