Schultbekentenisse (Confession of Guilt) van Jan Hendriksz van Schiedam
Schultbekentenisse (Confession of Guilt) van Jan Hendricksz van Schiedam, published in 1590 (no publisher indicated), is a notable booklet in which Jan Hendricksz, elder of the Frisian congregation of Schiedam, Holland, lamented the Frisian-Flemish schism of 1566-67. His confession of guilt, signed by him and ten other preachers and deacons, was an introduction to the merger of the (Young) Frisians and the High German Mennonites on the basis of the Concept of Cologne in 1591.
