Pleasant Valley Evangelical Mennonite Church (Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada)

The Pleasant Valley Evangelical Mennonite congregation in Rosenort, MB began services in 1960, and formally organized in 1961. The first building was occupied in 1961, with a subsequent building program in 1985. P. L. Friesen and Dave Eidse are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated through division from the Rosenort Evangelical Mennonite Church due to the large number of members at Rosenort.

In 1965 there were 75 members; in 1975, 85; in 1985, 105; in 1995, 118; 2000, 135. The congregation has been affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Conference since 1961. The language of worship is English.

The church's address is Box 328, Rosenort, MB, R0G 1W0. (204) 746-2008. Located at Sec. 3, Township 6, Range 1W. Pastor Darren Plett served in 2001 as a congregational leader.
