Jeye Jeyesz (Jaye Jayesz), a preacher of the Amsterdam Mennonite Lamist church, 1648-1671. After at first having opposed the progressive views of Galenus Abrahamsz, a preacher of the same congregation, he soon became his friend and follower and sided with him during the quarrel and schism between the moderates or Lamists and the conservatives or Zonists.
