The Martensville,Saskatchewan  Bergthaler Mennonite congregation began services in 1958. The first building was occupied in 1958, with a subsequent building program in 1974. The congregation originated through urbanization toward Saskatoon. The congregation has been affiliated with the Bergthaler Mennonite Church of Saskatchewan.

The Bergthaler Church bought the Conference of Mennonites in Canada (Rosenorter) church building at Hochfeld and moved it to Martensville in 1958.
