Alles, Derk (1639-1711)

Derk Alles, born 8  March 1639 at Meeden, Holland, and died at Groningen, 12 May 1711, was from 1666 to 1679 a preacher and from 1679 to 1711 an elder of the Groningen Old Flemish in the Netherlands. According to his own records he held 307 baptismal services ("opneming gedaan") and baptized a total of 1,832 persons on his journeys. In 1699 he ordained his son Alle Derks to the ministry, who took the place of elder after his father's death.
