New Life in Christ Church (Bethel, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Schubert Mennonite Church in Bethel, Pennsylvania, began in 1966. The group purchased the Schubert Meetinghouse, formerly used by the Church of the Brethren before it erected the Little Swatara church, and no longer needed the building. It was located in the tiny Schubert community in Bethel Township, Berks County. The congregation affiliated with the Lancaster Mennonite Conference.
Over the years, the congregation has built an addition to the west end of the building, providing Sunday school classrooms and indoor bathrooms. The congregation also reversed the orientation of the sanctuary.
In 2022, the Schubert Mennonite Church changed its name to New Life in Christ Church.
