Kennett Square Mennonite Church (Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Kennett Square Mennonite Church in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, began when the Millwood Mennonite Church and the Homeville Mennonite Church started a Sunday school in the community in 1951 in homes on Sunday afternoons. The churches purchased a vacant church building on North Walnut Street in 1952 and continued services on Sunday afternoons, shifting to Sunday mornings on 5 July 1953. The church was affiliated with the Lancaster Mennonite Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC).
In 1971/72, the congregation built a new church meetinghouse on Mill Road that it dedicated on 7 May 1972.
The Iglesia Hispana in Kennett Square took over the former Kennett Square Mennonite Church building after that congregation closed in September 2005. A joint service held on 16 October 2005 marked the transition from the English-language church to the Spanish-language church plant.
