Iglesia Evangélica Luz Verdadera (Reading, Pennsylvania, USA)
Iglesia Evangélica Luz Verdadera (Evangelical Church of the True Light) began in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1960. José and Mildred González began services in a home with the help of others from the New Holland Spanish Mennonite Church. In August 1960, the new group rented a former barber shop.
In 1963, Luz Verdadera began to meet on Sunday afternoons in the South Seventh Street Mennonite Church. In late 1964, the Eastern Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities helped to purchase a property at 1003 Franklin Street.
