The Iglesia Evangelica Nueva Vida in Sarasota, Florida, was founded in the early 2000s under the leadership of Ambrosio Encarnación. It was affiliated with the Southeast Mennonite Conference of Mennonite Church USA.
In 2018, the Southeast Mennonite Conference withdrew from Mennonite Church USA and became a district of LMC: a Fellowship of Anabaptist Churches. Thus, Iglesia Evangelica Neuva Vida's denominational affiliation changed.
