Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Lancaster (Landisville, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Lancaster began in 2002 under the leadership of Demeke Getahun and his wife, Wegayhu Ketema. They came as refugees from Eastern Ethiopia in 1989. Getahun was ordained in 2004. Worship services were in Amharic. The congregation related to the Lancaster Mennonite Conference.
The congregation has supported Siloam Ethiopia Ministries to support and clinic and orphanage in Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Lancaster initially met in the Hempfield Church of the Brethren but later shared a building with the Church of the Word International on Church Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
