River City Mennonite Church (Moline, Illinois, USA)
The Rock Island Mennonite Church, Rock Island, Illinois, USA, began in 1981 as a mission outreach of the Iowa-Nebraska Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC) to a disadvantaged area of the city.
The pastoral leader throughout its lifetime was Ken Shook. Worship services were unstructured and had a charismatic bent
It changed its name to River City Mennonite Church in 1987 when it moved its location to Moline, Illinois, a twin city of Rock Island on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River.
River City Mennonite Church was last listed in the Mennonite Yearbook in 1992.
