The Old Colony Mennonite Church at Whitecourt, Alberta, located approximately 177 km northwest of Edmonton, was officially established on 1 January 2023. Their beginning traces back to when families moved to the area in 2016. Initially they met in community halls and were served by the ministers of the Two Hills Old Colony Mennonite Church. In 2021 a church was built and in November 2022 they elected 2 ministers and 1 deacon.
