Pursuit Church (Manheim, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Immanuel Christian Fellowship, Manheim, Pennsylvania, USA, began in February 1991 as an outreach congregation of the Petra Christian Fellowship in New Holland. Initially, a core group of 30-35 people began meeting on Sunday evenings at the Manheim Christian Day School. In November 1991 they began Sunday morning services. Ed Sensenig, an elder at Petra, provided initial leadership. It became a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1992.
In 1995 the congregation purchased a former church that had been used for the Sporting Hill Mennonite School for 25 years. It dedicated the converted building on Mount Joy Road on 12 November 1995.
In 2001 it was part of the decision by a group of congregations to form the Hopewell Network of Churches that left the Atlantic Coast Conference and Mennonite Church USA. It then became a non-denominational church.
In 2020 the congregation changed its name to Pursuit Church.
In 2022 the congregation remained part of the Hopewell Network of Churches.
