The Community of Hope in Bellingham, Washington, USA, began in 2021 as a queer-friendly church plant that met online although rooted in the local community. It was incorporated in June 2021.

The founding leader was Rachael Weasley.

Its Facebook page described itself as having "a robust Zoom diaspora across the country." Its focus was "centering queer theology," "working for structural justice," and "forming friendships, and sharing our lives."

In late 2021 the congregation was meeting monthly via Zoom technology.
