The Country Side Mennonite Church, eight miles east of Dalhart, Texas, USA, was established in 1975. The congregation started after families began moving to the area in search of farming opportunities. The congregation was formally organized on 23 March 1975 in the home of Loren Becker.

Initially, the group met in homes, primarily for Sunday school. Often each family brought food for a fellowship meal following the service. When the group got larger, it began to meet in the XIT Ranger building, the Humpty Dumpty Nursery, and finally in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, which they used for seven years. In 1981/82, the congregation built its own church building on four acres of land northeast of Hartley; it was dedicated on 23 May 1982. It was at this time the congregation changed its name to Country Side Mennonite Church.

The Country Side Christian School began in 1983 in the church's fellowship hall. In 1994/95, the congregation built a separate school building.

At first, the congregation was known as the Dalhart Mennonite Church. In 1977 the portion of the group that lived closer to Texline, Texas, became a separate congregation.

In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The minister was Clark Schafer.
