Pleasant View Mennonite Church (Lobelville, Tennessee, USA)
The Pleasant View Mennonite Church near Lobelville, Tennessee, USA was established in 1989. The congregation started as a mission outreach of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The denomination's Mission Board held tent meetings in 1985 in the area near conservative Anabaptist groups that used horses and buggies. It then rented a house in the area to serve as a mission home. It purchased land and built a mission home in 1986/87 that was called the Buffalo Spring Mission. A congregation was finally organized on 18 December 1989.
A church and school were constructed in 1990 with the help of many congregations. The school is known as the Pleasant View Christian School.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The minister was Carlon Swarey.
