Plains View Mennonite Church (Plains, Kansas, USA)
The Plains View Mennonite Church north of Plains, Kansas, USA was established in 1993. The congregation started when the Homeland congregation had grown in size, and it was believed members from northern Meade County would welcome a congregation closer to their area. The group of 12 families began to meet in a farm shed in September 1993, with Lloyd Nightingale providing pastoral leadership.
Work on a church building began in December 1993, with the first service in the unfinished building on 27 March 1994. The building was dedicated on 5 March 1995.
The church also operates the Prairie Winds Christian School.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The minister was Kelly Isaac.
