Salem Amish Mennonite Church (Newcomerstown, Ohio, USA)
The Salem Amish Mennonite Church in Newcomerstown, Ohio, USA was established in 1979. The congregation started as an outreach of the Maranatha Fellowship.
Initially Wednesday evening prayer meetings and Bible studies were held in homes. In 1978 a four-room schoolhouse was purchased and renovated for worship. The first Sunday morning service was held in July 1979, though the congregation had already organized in the spring.
In 2017 the church was a member of the Beachy Amish Mennonite Fellowship and had a membership of 59. The bishop was Robert Miller, and the minister was Michael J. Hershberger.
