Faith Mennonite Church (South Boston, Virginia, USA)
The Faith Mennonite Church in South Boston, Virginia began about 1983 when the Ebenezer Mennonite Church withdrew from the Virginia Mennonite Conference. A minority of Ebenezer members wished to remain with the conference and formed the the Faith congregation. Initially there were 19 members led by Monroe C. Slabach.
About 2002 Faith Mennonite Church withdrew from the Virginia Mennonite Conference over doctrinal concerns, and then became a member of the Mountain Valley Mennonite Churches, a group of churches unwilling to join the then new Mennonite Church USA.
In 2009 the pastor was Larry E. Martin; the membership was 19.
