Fish Creek Christian Fellowship, an Evangelical Mennonite Conference (EMC) congregation, began services in southwest Calgary, Alberta in 1998, fulfilling the desire of some members of Abbeydale Christian Fellowship for a second EMC church in Calgary. The dream went back to at least 1995. In September 1998 people began to meet for services, about a month before their first pastor arrived.

Conroy Koop, a college and seminary graduate, was serving as a youth/associate pastor at Wymark EMC (Chortitz, Saskatchewan) when he was approached about leading a church plant. He and his wife Sheila arrived on 30 October 1998. The church was chartered with 17 members on 14 March 1999 and received into the EMC on 4 July 1999. When Conroy Koop resigned, Scott Koop was hired as pastor and, later, he married Angela. Conroy Koop and Scott Koop were first cousins.

Fish Creek Christian Fellowship met initially in a rented section of a strip mall at 464 Woodbine Avenue in south Calgary. It later moved its meetings for two years to a gym at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, and then moved back to its former address. When the mall was sold, the congregation began to meet in Okotoks, Alberta, and then in another Catholic setting in Calgary, before renting space at Woodcreek Community Centre, 1991 Woodview Drive SW, Calgary.

In 2012, Fish Creek Christian Fellowship had a membership of 59, an average Sunday School attendance of nine, and an average worship attendance of 45.

For various reasons, the congregation decided in September 2013 to close.
