Iberville Hutterite Colony (Elie, Manitoba, Canada)
Iberville Hutterite Bruderhof, seven miles northeast of Elie, Manitoba, was founded in 1919 by 11 families with their preacher Paul Gross, of the Rosedale Bruderhof in Elie, Manitoba. Paul Gross died 10 May 1929. Other preachers of the colony prior to 1955 were Peter Gross, chosen on 16 March 1924, Paul Gross, chosen on 15 January 1933, and Michael Gross, chosen on 31 January 1937. In 1947 the colony had a population of 143 souls, of whom 57 were baptized members.
Daughter colonies of Iberville Hutterite Colony include: Pineland Hutterite Colony; Riverside Hutterite Colony; Rock Lake Hutterite Colony; and Whiteshell Hutterite Colony.
In 2017 the Iberville Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
