Andries Meulenaer and Francijntgen Meulenaers (Miller), Anabaptist martyrs, were seized in Bruges in Flanders in 1561 with 10 brethren and one sister, with whom they were attending a meeting. Though they were repeatedly tried on the rack, they joyfully bore the chains and steadfastly confessed their faith. On 10 December 1561, Andries and four fellow prisoners died at the stake; on the next day Francijntgen endured the same fate with the remaining prisoners. Andries is identical with Andries Viblarre, born at Zwevezele.  His name is also found in the song, "Genade en Vrede moet Godvresende zijn" (Mercy and peace must be Godfearing), in the Dutch hymnbook Veelderhande Liedekens, 1569.
