Jakob (Jörg) Prenner (not Renner, as in Mennonitisches Lexikon I, 142), an Anabaptist martyr, a day laborer of Schmiechen, Upper Bavaria, Germany, who bap­tized about eighteen persons, was beheaded at Munich in 1528.
