Georg Köhler, an Anabaptist martyr, an illiterate day laborer of Mülsen St. Michall near Zwickau, Germany, was baptized with Georg Knobloch on 6 October 1534. He at once became a zealous propagandist for his faith, making a deep impression. He was seized at Riestedt near Sangerhausen, 2 September 1535, and was soon afterward executed at Sangerhausen with Georg Möller and an Anabaptist woman.
