Church planters Zane and Marcia Grant began work on planting a new congregation in Cambridge, Ontario in September 2001. New Harvest Fellowship was a church plant under Love Toronto, the Key City Initiative sponsored by the Ontario Conference and the Canadian MB Conference Board of Evangelism. The congregation began holding services on 31 March 2002 and joined the Ontario Conference of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches in February 2003. In February 2009 the Ontario MB Conference convention reported that the congregation had closed.
