United Covenant Mennonite Church was founded in 1994 in Etowah, North Carolina. The church joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in February 2000.

In 2015 the leading minister was Bob L. Webb and the associate pastor was Mervin Wengerd. The congregational membership was 28.
