Barnwell Mennonite Church is located in Blackville, South Carolina. The church was organized in 1973 and began as a member of the Georgia-Carolina District of the Southeastern Mennonite Conference. In 1995 the congregation became a charter member of the South Atlantic Mennonite Conference.

In 2014 the church had 86 members. The ministerial team included Bishop Wendell Heatwole, Ministers Chad Brubaker and Gary Hege, and Deacon Michael Strite.
