Pieter Matthijsz (d. 1552)
Pieter Matthijsz, an Anabaptist martyr, who was burned at the stake on 21 August 1552, at Leiden, Dutch province of South Holland. Particulars are lacking. He was probably a brother of the martyrs Willem Matthijsz and Jannetgen Matthijsdochter, executed at Leiden on the same day.
