Niehove (Groningen, Netherlands)
Niehove is the village in the Dutch province of Groningen where Leenaert Bouwens in 1568-1582 baptized 25 persons. A separate congregation of Niehove is not known. The Mennonites baptized by Bouwens may have joined the Humsterland congregation. At Gaaikemaweer, a hamlet near Niehove, meetings were held in the 16th and 17th centuries.
