Post und Volksblatt was a weekly German newspaper edited by H. P. Krehbiel and C. E. Krehbiel and published by the Western Book and Publishing Company at Newton, Kansas, 1904-1909. It was formed by combining the Hillsboro Post and the Kansas Volksblatt. The 1904 volume of Post und Volksblatt was volume 18. In 1910 the name was changed to Der Herold but the volume numbers were kept in consecutive order. The Kansas Volksblatt had at one time been edited by D. Goerz and W. J. Krehbiel and sold by them to the Newton Kansan in 1899. D. R. Krehbiel served as editor until the Kansan sold the Kansas Volksblatt to the Western Book and Publishing Company.
