Ocke Pieters (d. in 1685 at Hamburg, Germany), was ordained as a preacher of the Hamburg-Altona Mennonite congregation in 1671; in 1676 he was ordained as an elder by the elders Jan Sibes Pottebacker of Harlingen and Remmert Jacobs. Pieters preached the first sermon in the new meetinghouse at Altona on 14 March 1675. In 1678 Ocke Pieters, Gerrit Roosen, and Hans Hermans met with Galenus Abrahamsz, then visiting Hamburg, to investigate his orthodoxy.
