The Kief Mennonite Brethren Church of Kief, McHenry County, North Dakota, a member of the Central District Conference, was organized in 1911 by Ludwig Seibel with 25 members of Russian ethnic background. This congregation affiliated itself with Mennonite Brethren congregations of Russian-speaking people in Canada. The church building was erected in 1911. Ministers who have served this congregation include E. Lushenko, who served until 1923, and Daniel Rerekrestenko, who served until 1943. These were assisted by Ed Simbalenko 1923-1944 and after that by Levi Simbalenko for three years. The membership in 1953 was about 35.

The church no longer exists.
