Jan Pluys (name probably garbled), was a preach­er of the Mennonite congregation of Monjou (Monschau) in the Eiffel, Germany, who be­cause of persecution in 1711 moved to the Dutch province of South Holland, where he was engaged in farming. Further particulars are lacking.
