Vrieze family
De Vrieze (Vreese, Vreeze, Vries, Vriesse), a former Dutch Mennonite family, in the 17th century living at Aardenburg in Dutch Zeeland Flanders, whither they had emigrated from Flanders, Belgium. In the 18th century (some even earlier) they left the Mennonites and joined the Reformed Church.
