Salem Mennonite Church (Munich, North Dakota, USA)
Salem Mennonite Church (General Conference Mennonite Church), located in Munich, North Dakota, was organized in 1901 by Henry Quiring of Mountain Lake, Minnesota; Martin Fast and Isaac Friesen were elected as ministers. Other ministers who have served are Hellmuth F. Ortmann and George Hoffman. The meetinghouse was built in 1906, and remodeled and enlarged in 1946. The membership in 1957 was 152, with John J. Hofer as pastor.
