Friedrich Dame, pastor and provost at Rostock, was author of the book Abgedrungene Relatio dess Colloquii und was sonsten mit denen von Flensburg entwichenen Enthusiasten Niclaus Kuntzen und Hartwich Lohmann gehandelt, auch gründliche refutatio ihrer greulichen Schwärmerei . . . (Rostock, 1625, 152 pages), dedicated to the Count of Ahlefeld. The introduction contains a blunt warning against Schwenckfelders, Photians and Anabaptists. The booklet would have some value for Anabaptist history if the assertion that Niclaus Kuntz of Husum "who studied in Amsterdam" was an Anabaptist were correct. But of this there is no possibility, judging by what is said about his faith. Perhaps he and Lohmann were Weigelians.
