Franciscus Mijleman, (1610-1667), a Jesuit who was active in the Dutch province of Groningen in 1639- 1667, and who gave some information about Anabaptism in this area in his booklet Ommelands Eere. In his book Vast ende kiaer bewijs hoe dat Christus Jesus . . . in sijn H. Mensch-wordinge heejt uyt sijns H. Moeders, en Maegts Maria suyver Lichaem aengenomen onse Nature (Antwerp, 1661), he also attacked the doctrine of the Incarnation as taught by Menno Simons.
