Marytje Simons (d. 1542)

Marytje Simons, of Gouda, Dutch province of South Holland, an Anabaptist martyr, was sentenced to death on 3 July 1542 by the Court of Holland and burned at the stake at The Hague that very day or the following, because "she had been rebaptized and calumniated the Holy Catholic Church."
