Ketelbueter was a family in Maastricht, Dutch province of Limburg, many members of which were active in early Anabaptism. The most prominent of them was Lenart (Leonard, Lentgen) Ketelbueter, who was baptized in September 1534 by Henric Rol and was a deacon of the Maastricht congregation. His son Simon was also an Anabaptist. In early 1535, when persecution arose in Maastricht, Lenart fled from Maastricht to Antwerp with a number of members of the congregation, among whom were a daughter and his son Jan, who was baptized at Antwerp. Here too Lenart was active, but soon all trace of him is lost. Lenart's wife Anna was in prison at Maastricht in 1537; she was released, apparently because she had recanted. Another member of this family was Jan Ketelbueter, Lenart's brother, in whose home at Maastricht the Anabaptists sometimes met in 1534. Ruth Ketelbueter was also a deacon at Maastricht. On 28 January 1535 he was arrested with other members of the congregation; he denied his faith and was beheaded on 13 February 1535. His wife, also an Anabaptist, was put to death in 1539 at Nijmegen, Dutch province of Gelderland. Lysken Ketelbueter, a sister of Lenart and Jan, also a member of the congregation, had been Henric Rol's housekeeper. In the records it is suggested that she was Rol's wife.

Thoenis Ketelbueter and his wife of Maastricht still adhered to Anabaptism in 1545, when the congregation had been wiped out. Also a Jacob Ketelbueter is named as an Anabaptist. Probably Johann Kesselflicker (Ketelbueter), who was baptized in 1541 by Leonard Fälber also belonged to this family.
