Plempsche Doopsgezinden, or Plempsche gemeente (congregation), nickname of the Old Frisian Mennonite congregation at Hoorn, Holland, "de Plemp" being the name of a house in which this congregation held its meetings. Because of the fanaticism of the elder Pieter Jans Twisck, Jr., this group, then numbering 30 members, had separated from the Frisian congregation in 1690. Its members merged with the main body in 1723.
