Janneken van Rentegem (d. 1570)

Janneken van Rentegem, an Anabaptist martyr, burned at the stake on 7 November 1570, on the Vrijdagsmarkt at Ghent, together with Janneken van Hulle and Hans van der Weghe. She was charged with the crimes of rebaptism and attending the Mennonite meetings. According to van Braght, <em>Martyrs' Mirror</em>, she was unmarried.
